The TDC Evaluation Board is the ideal piece of equipment to evaluate and develop your GPS application. It allows 9-way serial connection, mains and battery power supply and DGPS correction input to the GPS9543 module, saving you time and effort developing your own board.

Using the Starter Pack, you can be up and running with GPS in under ten minutes. Everything you need to connect and use GPS on your PC is in the box. Full circuit diagrams are included, allowing the designer to use this product as a ‘platform’ for future developments.

TDC’s GPS serial evaluation board, allows simple interconnection, option
   setting, RS232 conversion, differential support and power supply.
Active magnetic mounting GPS antenna, ideal for vehicle use.
Serial cable for connection to a standard 9-pin PC serial port.
CD, containing Navman’s LABMON GPS monitor program (and source code), Psion 3a/3c NMEA GPS monitor and various other utilities. All documentation
   is included on the CD. Pair of Ni-cad batteries allowing mobile operation of

This starter pack is a simple and fast way to get up and running with the TC35i or the TC35iT. The picture above shows how simple it is to get your demo up and running with the addition of a PC and SIM card.

The pack includes:

MRDEQ-2F with 2m of RF cable

All you need to add is a network connected SIM (Phase II) and a PC. The TC35i Terminal is based around the TC35i module.

The TDC MC35iT GPRS Starter Pack, allows those who want to trial GPRS in PC or embedded applications to do so quickly and economically. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) adds 'always on' functionality to the existing TC35i Terminal, making the new MC35iT.

TDC's MC35iT Starter Pack provides everything needed to get started, even down to the serial cable & antenna to evaluate GPRS 'out-of-the-box'. The MC35i is offered in the form of a plug-and-play terminal for simple integration in systems. The Starter Pack also includes CD with manuals and
software.

The module version of the MC35iT measures just 54.5 x 36 x 3.6mm and weighs only 19 grams. Offering GPRS with data rates of up to 85.6 kilobit/s (GPRS Multislot Class 8 downlink from the base station), the MC35i also supports conventional fax and data communication at up to 14.4 kilobit/s, SMS messaging and reception of cell broadcast services, as well as voice communication.

GPRS (MC45) Starter Pack

SMC Starter Pack

The SMC is a very versatile device which converts a GSM Modem, the TC35T, into a remote monitoring system. It is available in two versions,
one with two inputs and two outputs (SMC2I2O) and one with four inputs (SMC4I0O).

The inputs are set up to react to a grounded connection, i.e. a switch or similar signal pulling the input to ground. The outputs are active low and able to sink 20mA, ideal for operating an LED, or external power FET to drive higher current loads.

PC configuration software is supplied which sets up the SMC via a direct connection the a PC. Once set up, the SMC is connected to the TC35T and to the final application.

The SMC Starter Pack includes a SMC of your choice (SMC2I2O or SMC4I0O), TC35T module, power supply, serial cable, data and utilities CD, antenna and null modem cable for programming the SMC.

TCP/IP Starter Pack

The TDC TCP/IP Starter Pack, allows those who want to trial GPRS and connect to the Internet in PC or embedded applications to do so quickly and economically. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) adds 'always on'

Simply install iConnector between your device and a wireless modem or data-enabled phone to Internet-enable your host device. Connect One’s AT+i™ protocol eliminates the need for Internet programming and minimises changes to the host application.
