The
Compulogic range of boards are an expandable way of providing remote
control using either a UTP LAN connection or SMS control from a
GSM terminal.
- Using the
SMS Gateway, a digital I/O module and a GSM Terminal such as the
TC35iT, you can control and monitor up to eight digital inputs.
- Use a GSM
Terminal, a SMS Gateway and a Web server module, and you have
a simple SMS to Web gateway.
- Use a Web
server and an analogue I/O module, you can monitor temperatures
from anywhere on the web.
The applications
of these modules are limitless. They are simple to configure and
connect. The documentation is very comprehensive, and is downloadable
from this page.

Each controller
(Web server or SMS gateway) module can control up to two each of
the digital and analogue I/O modules. You can add more modules as
required. |

PicoServ
Web Server Module

PicoServ is
a low cost, miniature web server module featuring a fully integrated
10baseT Ethernet interface, a variety of interfaces to the ‘real
world’ and EEPROM storage for 260K of web pages and other
files. PicoServ provides a compact "No PC" web access
solution. This device will connect to the other modules to provide
Internet access control.
Program the
PicoServ with a fixed IP address, connect to the web via the Ethernet
interface and it can be accessed from any browser anywhere in the
world. The device can be password protected, making it secure from
un-authorised users. Messages can be triggered from I/O from connected
modules or these modules can be interrogated using dynamic HTML
pages on the PicoServ module. HTML can be fully customised to your
own requirements.
- Power requirements - 6-18V DC, 40mA
- Dimensions - 70mm x 50mm x 16mm
- User file capacity - 260,096 bytes
- Maximum number of files - 64
- Host interface - via RS232 or I2C
- Interface - via I/O modules (supports up to eight)
- Network connection - via built-in 10/100 Ethernet or optional SMS gateway

PicoServ
Digital I/O module

Part of the family of I/O expansion modules for the PicoServ miniature
web server system, the Digital I/O Expansion Module provides a simple
means of interfacing 8 digital input and 8 digital output signals
to the web server or SMS modules. Real-world input or output signals
connected to the expansion module are easily displayed or changed
in any web browser using only simple HTML commands.
- Four logic
level digital outputs capable of sinking or sourcing 25mA per
output
- Four voltage
free single pole changeover relay outputs rated at 1A @ 24VDC
- Eight digital
inputs protected to +/- 30VDC
- Power - 6-18V DC, 28mA (relays off), 120mA (relays on)
- Dimensions - 70mm x 50mm x 16mm

PicoServ
Analogue I/O Module
Part of the family of
I/O expansion modules for the PICOSERV miniature web server system,
the Analogue I/O Expansion Module provides a simple means of interfacing
4 Analogue inputs, 4 digital outputs, 4 digital inputs and an ambient
temperature sensor to the web server or SMS modules. Real world
input or output signals connected to the expansion module are easily
displayed or changed in any web browser using only simple HTML commands.
- Four analogue
input ports which can be software (browser) configured to operate
in one of three different modes
- Mode1 - 0-4V
input with a 4mV resolution
- Mode2 - 0-2V
input with a 2mV resolution
- Mode3 - Temperature
input with a 0.2°C resolution when using a 10mV/°C sensor
- All analogue
inputs have a programmable offset of +/- 9.999V or +/-999.9°C,
depending on the input mode selected
- Four logic
level output signals, capable of sinking or sourcing 25mA per
output
- Four logic
level digital inputs protected to +/- 30VDC
- Power requirements - 6-18V DC, 20mA
- Dimensions - 70mm x 50mm x 16mm
