The Seres is a smart GPS,WAAS, and EGNOS receiver and antenna solution
in a single compact, convenient enclosure. It is designed for a
variety of applications including Precision Agriculture, GIS, and
Mapping.
High Performance GPS
The Seres uses a new GPS engine architecture that provides faster
startup and acquisition times. With a current almanac and ephemeris,
the SERES will provide a position within 35 seconds. If it’s
been powered within the last couple hours, the Seres will provide
a position within approximately 20 seconds.
Unlike many other smart antenna products, the Seres delivers high
accuracy, and high position update rates with low power consumption.
SBAS Support
The US Federal Aviation Administration’s Wide Area Augmentation
System (WAAS) is now undergoing rigorous final testing for its Initial
Operation Capability.
Other WAAS compatible space-based augmentation systems are also
under development, such as the European Geostationary Navigation
Overlay System (EGNOS) and the Japanese MTSAT Satellite-based Augmentation
System (MSAS), among others. The Seres provides compatibility for
each of these free GPS augmentations.
Interface
The Seres features a combination power/data cable that is available
in a variety of terminations to suit your needs. The cable interface
provides power input to the antenna and features dual serial ports,
an event marker input, 1 PPS output, and signal outputs intended
for illuminating remote status LED indicators.
COAST™ Technology
COASTTM technology allows the Seres to use old correction data for
up to 30 minutes or more without seriously affecting the quality
of your positioning. Using COASTTM, the Seres is less likely to
be affected by differential outages due to differential signal blockages,
weak signal, or interference. No other product offers this flexibility.
Monitoring Software
CSI Wireless freely distributes SLXMon, a Windows-based software
used to configure and monitor the operation of the Seres smart antenna.

GPS Compass
The Vector ST and Vector Pro GPS compasses are designed to provide
your marine navigation system with reliable, accurate heading and
position information.
Inside the Vector ST & Pro, two GPS engines work cooperatively,
resolving extremely accurate heading with a sophisticated moving
base station Real-time Kinematic (RTK) solution.
The Vector ST offers 1 Hz heading and position updates with a heading
accuracy of 1.0°. The Vector Pro offers higher performance with
a heading accuracy of 0.5°degrees, and heading and position
update rates of up to 5 Hz.
Both versions provide sub-metre DGPS positioning when using free
correction data supplied from internal WAAS, EGNOS, demodulators.
SBAS
The American Federal Aviation Administration is currently testing
its Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) in preparation for Initial
Operational Capability. This service provides accurate, reliable
GPS correction data throughout much of North America.
WAAS-compatible Space Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) are also
under development throughout the world, including the European Geostationary
Navigation Overlay System (EGNOS) and the Japanese MTSAT Satellite-based
Augmentation System (MSAS). The VECTOR ST & PRO receive these
free correction services with their built-in SBAS demodulator.
Beacon
Navigation authorities around the world have installed DGPS radiobeacon
networks that broadcast free GPS correction information. With the
use of their built-in beacon demodulator and antenna, the VECTOR
ST & PRO uses these real-time corrections to deliver accurate,
reliable positioning when in range of a beacon.
Interface
The Vector ST & Pro, each feature two independent RS-232 serial
ports and one RS-422 port. Any port may be configured freely for
a variety of NMEA 0183 output sentences or for the input of RTCM
correction data from an external source. The power supply and each
communications port is optically isolated to ensure that hull electrolysis
does not occur.
COAST ™ Technology
The Vector ST & Pro feature COAST™ technology that allows
it to use old correction data for up to 40 minutes without seriously
affecting positioning performance. This feature offers peace of
